Quilt Examples

These are some of the quilts that I have made for myself/family and friends. Some are patterns from other Quilters and some are ones that I have designed myself. All of the quilting on the tops have been done by me.

Noah's Ark: This was one of my first block of the month quilts. I loved every step of making it. It was a joy to quilt it. I used different colors of thread and custom quilting throughout the quilt.

Out of Bound Quilt: This is a pattern from the Missouri Star Quilt Company. I thought it was so neat to sew with hexagons. The quilt design was a whole cloth design of a nature scene. I used grey thread.

Joey's Quilt: I made this for my youngest when he left for College. He helped me pick the colors and I surprised him with the rest. The repeating block is one that I created. All of the NHL teams are quilted into the top. I used stormy blue thread and did different sizes of meander stitching throughout the quilt.

Halloween Quilt: This quilt is special to me. It is the first one I ever made. It is a simple patch quilt of different Halloween fabric. The quilting is a repeating pumpkin edge to edge design. I used black thread.

Lozenges: This is the Leader & Ender Challenge of 2014 from Bonnie Hunter's site on Quiltville. I so loved making this quilt. I love all scrappy quilts. I did an all over flower edge to edge design in stormy blue thread.

Christmas Strip Quilt: This is my first Christmas quilt. I know it won't be the last. Fun to make and fun to quilt. I did an all over holly berry edge to edge stitch in variegated green thread and cream thread.

American Flag Quilt: This was from a pattern from the Moda site made with moda precut fabric. I quilted stars in the upper area of the flags-meander stitch on the stripes of the flag. Then I did custom quilting in all of the boarders and sashings. I used variegated blue thread and cream thread.
